Domino’s Pizza is set to come to Mere Street in Diss next month

The opening date for a new Domino’s Pizza store in Diss has been announced.

The new branch in 27 Mere Street, which was the former Pride Animal Rescue shop, will open on April 8.

The store, which will open between 11am and 11pm, seven days a week, will create 25 jobs vacancies for roles including shift managers, pizza-makers, and delivery drivers – some of which are already online.

Ricky Kandola, operations director at SK Group, said: “We are excited to come to the picturesque market town of Diss, to deliver the nation’s favourite pizza.

“We are passionate about enhancing our new community with employment opportunities, where people from Diss can grow and develop their careers.

“Over 90 percent of Domino’s store managers started in-store or as a delivery driver, so whether you’re looking for a few extra hours or a completely new career path, there are roles to suit everyone.”

The store will give 200 free personal pizzas to customers in the area the weekend before opening, along with a free cookie to all those that collect their orders on opening week.
