East Harling theft spate sees items stolen in several separate incidents




Various items have been taken from cars and premises in East Harling during a spate of thefts.

The incidents took place between 4pm on Monday and 10am on Tuesday March 2.

During the thefts, a white van was stolen in Marsh Lane in New Buckenham before being later recovered, two cars were broken into in White Hart Street, East Harling, with a wallet being stolen and a pressure washer and Lazy Spa pump was stolen from a shed in Mount Pleasant Drive in East Harling.

In two more East Harling incidents, another car was broken into in The Bailiwick, along with a premises on Mount Pleasant Drive, but nothing was stolen on these occasions.

Norfolk Police Inspector Rob Button said: "Our enquiries into these incidents are ongoing and we do believe they are linked. Officers would be keen to hear from anyone who may have any information about these incidents, including anyone who may CCTV in the area.”

"I would also ask residents to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity to police on 101 or call 999 if you believe a crime is in progress.”
