They did it! Six Diss and District Bowls Club players played for 50 continuous hours at the Potters Leisure Resort in Hopton-on-Sea, with evidence of a new record now being submitted to Guinness World Records for official confirmation.

Lynne Ainge, team member, along with Robert Capon, Kristian Garnham, David Harrison, Lee Holden and Aaron Stimpson, said: “It was an unbelievable experience - to actually do it was amazing.” They are trying to beat the previous 40-hour record set in Australia, while also raising funds for the Big C Cancer charity. They started last Friday at 2pm, finishing at 4pm on Sunday.
