People in south Norfolk are being urged to think about the security of their oil tanks this festive period.

The warning comes after an incident in Intwood, near Cringleford, in the early hours of December 18.

The occupant of a property was awoken at around 3.15am by the sound of the oil tank alarm and called police. A container had been partially filled with oil and approximately 200 litres of oil had been taken from the tank.
