Vodafone signal woe in Hoxne has come to an end thanks to a temporary fix — with the communications giant hoping to carry out a permanent repair on the local mast “as soon as possible”.
Vodafone customers in and around the north Suffolk village had been without signal since mid November, and was restored at the start of last week.

A spokesperson for Vodafone said of the three antennas, two were providing service thanks to a temporary fix.
“We’re sorry some of our customers locally have experienced signal problems recently,” they said. “Our local mast has developed a fault which has partially affected the service.
“Our engineers will need to climb the mast to carry out a permanent repair. We’re hoping to get this done as soon as possible.”
