Teenage girl robbed in Tasburgh

A teenage girl has been robbed in Tasburgh.

It happened between 5pm and 5.30pm yesterday (Thursday) in Church Road.

The victim, a 17 year-old girl, was walking from the bus stop when a man has approached her from behind, put his hand on her shoulder and demanded money. She threw her purse past the offender, before he took money from it, dropped it on the ground, and ran away.

The man is described white, around 6 foot tall, of slim build and wearing black trainers, black jeans, a navy blue parka, which had thick fur around the hood and a black scarf across his face.

Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or noticed anything suspicious in the area at the times mentioned.
