Tanker fire on A140 at Stuston causes delays
A rear tyre on a petrol tanker which caught on fire has caused severe delays on the A140 at Stuston this morning.
Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service, assisted by two crews from Norfolk, were called just after 5am to the tanker, which was carrying petrol and diesel.
The fire was contained at around 7am, with crews using dry powder and water.
Police are currently still on the scene.
One lane was closed northbound on the A140 between the A143 junction and the A1066, but a spokesperson for the police said this had now reopened.
