Panto Robin Hood performed at Diss Corn Hall
Get ready to hiss and boo, because the curtain have gone up on the Diss Corn Hall pantomime.
This year’s show – the third panto in Diss from professional theatre company LP Creatives – is Robin Hood.
So reserve your cheers for Robin and Maid Marion and your jeers for the dastardly Sheriff of Nottingham and the poisonous Deadly Nightshade.
In the title role is Joshua Hughes, who has been performing since he appeared in South Pacific at the age of eight.
His co-star in Diss is Sophie Baxter, who played Marion for LP Creatives at Shoreham last year.
She has also appeared as the lead vocalist in shows in the UK and abroad.
Robin’s arch-enemy is Jordan Brett as the Sheriff of Nottingham, while Taryn Taylor as Deadly Nightshade is looking forward to a baddie role after seasons of playing pantomime princesses.
Every panto must have an outrageous dame and this year it is Colin Savage, with the groan-making name of Nora Bone.
The show runs until December 30.
