Suspicious vehicle seen in Coney Weston prompts police appeal

Police are appealing for information after a suspicious vehicle was spotted in Coney Weston this morning.

A witness contacted police at around 7.25am and reported seeing a green Nissan Terrano, containing a group of men with dogs, in a field off Hopton Road.

Officers attended the area and located the vehicle, containing three men and five dogs.

The men were subsequently reported for consideration of the offence of daytime trespass in pursuit of game.

Further enquiries into the incident will now take place to establish if any criminal offences have taken place.
