Haw Wood Farm, near Dunwich, Brick Kiln Farm, Sutton Hoo Holidays, near Woodbridge and Ling’s Meadow, near Diss, scoop Eastern region awards from Campsites.co.uk




Four Suffolk campsites have scooped a raft of awards for the East of England from a national camping website.

Haw Wood Farm Caravans and Camping, near Dunwich, struck double for Best Caravan Park and Best Family Campsite in the East of England.

Brick Kiln Farm Campsite and Sutton Hoo Holidays Campsite, near Woodbridge, were also on the list, as well as Ling’s Meadow, near Diss.

Brick Kiln Farm, which was noted for having fire pits at every pitch, as well as a table tennis and reading room available for guests, took the prize of ‘Best Adult Only Site.’

Haw Wood, which is easily accessible via the A12, has Southwold and Walberswick in its near vicinity, and features a café, nature trails and dog walking meadow on site.

Sutton Hoo Holiday Campsite took the runner-up spots for both ‘Best Caravan Park’ and ‘Best Family Campsite’, falls inside the Suffolk Coast AONB, and features fire pit pitches and is a 20 minute walk from the nearest beach.

Ling’s Meadow hosts five large tent pitches, two pre-pitched bell tents and a locally made living van; it claimed the runner-up spots for both ‘Best Campsite’ and ‘Best Family Campsite.
