Stradbroke man hospitalised after chainsaw accident

A Stradbroke man has been taken to hospital after a chainsaw accident.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) received a call at just before 3pm today to Bishops Way.

A rapid response vehicle and the East Anglian Air Ambulance were in attendance and treated a man, believed to be in his 40s, who had a cut to his arm and a facial injury.

He was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for further treatment.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
