Harleston: Stolen Mitsubishi found burnt out after collision with parked car

A stolen car has been found gutted by fire after it is believed to have been involved in a collision with a parked car.

Police officers were initially called to reports of a collision between a black Mitsubishi L200 truck and a parked car on Redenhall Road at 9.35pm last night.

The truck, which is believed to have been stolen from outside an address in Paddock Road earlier in the evening, was found burnt out in Mundys Lane in Mendham at around 11.50pm that night.

Nobody was injured in the collision on Redenhall Road, but police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, recorded CCTV or dashcam footage, or seen any suspicious activity in any of the locations involved to come forward.

Anyone with information should contact Sergeant James Butler at Harleston Police Station on 101 quoting incident number 441 of Thursday 18 March 2021.
