The Big Bus Show set to roll in to Stonham Barns Park on Sunday




Bus fans will be in their element at Stonham Barns Park on Sunday, as the annual Big Bus Show rolls in.

The show will see around 100 historic and modern buses – and other vehicles featuring transport through time – on display, with buses and coaches from the 1930s to the present day.

There will also be a selection of model displays on show.

With trade stands, food and drink vendors and showground attractions, it will be a fun and educational event for all the family.

Jamie Vendy nsaid: “This event is all about the buses and coaches, the enthusiasts, their families and those who just want to have a fun day out.

“It’s all about the nostalgia of transport and bringing some delightfully restored buses to the event where they can be seen and enjoyed by all.”

A free bus shuttle service will be running to and from Stowmarket Railway Station on the day. There will also be a free bus service to and from Mid Suffolk Light Railway Museum, at Wetheringsett, as well as a free service to Framlingham Castle and mystery excursion.

Organiser and bus owner Richard Ward said: “The Big Bus Show is a show for bus enthusiasts of all ages, traders and anyone who has ever brought a ticket to ride.

“My Dad used to work for London Buses and so I was raised in a family with a keen interest in buses.”
