Section of A1120 Ashfield Road at Framsden shut for emergency repairs to damaged overhead cables




A section of a busy road near a village has been shut for repairs to damaged overhead cables.

Suffolk Highways posted on Facebook saying the A1120 Ashfield Road at Framsden had been shut.

The closure starts around 200 metres from Thorpe Lane for 100 metres westbound and will allow Openreach to make the area safe and under take the necessary repairs.

Highways said the closure would be removed ‘as soon as possible’ but did not give a forecasted date.
