Scole Inn on fire as fire crews battle flames that have taken hold in chimney

Fire crews are currently at the scene of a chimney fire at Scole Inn, on The Street, in Scole.

Emergency services were called at 2.53pm today after flames were seen pouring from the chimney, with fire crews from Diss and Earlham attending.

Police were also called and have been dealing with traffic control, and no ambulance crews were required.

The fire is being dealt with via hose reels and hand appliances, with thermal imaging cameras also being used to check for hot spots.
