Sara Pascoe set to pull in the crowds for 2025 curtain-raiser at The Corn Hall in Diss
A TV regular is set to headline a comedy night at a town arts venue, as it kicks off 2025 with a star-studded line-up.
Sara Pascoe, known for stints on Live at the Apollo and for hosting The Great British Sewing Bee and Comedians Giving Lectures, will perform at The Corn Hall in Diss next month, when The Best in Comedy makes its return.
Joining her on stage will be fellow comedian Andrew Maxwell, who was a contestant on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2019. His other TV appearances include roles on Have I Got News For You, QI, Celebrity Juice, Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Mock The Week.
Out to prove that three is not a crowd, Russell Hicks is also on the bill. Seen as one of the UK’s most razor-sharp and exciting comic talents on the circuit, this London-based American has appeared on the likes of Channel 4, the BBC and ITV.
Completing the bill will be multi-award-winning comedian Maria Shehata. This Egyptian-American comedian is said to have “a sharp wit and a cut-throat style”.
The Best in Comedy will take place on Sunday, February 2, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £23.50 and can be booked online.
