Russells International Circus is in Diss for first time
The troupe of an international circus has been entertaining the crowds this week in its first visit to Diss.
Russells International Circus, which features acts from all over the world, has been in the town since Wednesday and will be doing its last shows on Sunday.
Rusty Russell, circus director, said: “We have always wanted to visit Diss but for various reasons it has never been possible.
“This year we are delighted to finally bring our award-winning show to the Fair Green which is steeped in history of fun fairs and circus of days gone by.”
Acts include The Tangier Troupe - a group of acrobats from Morocco, performing in the UK for the very first time, motorbike stunts and clowns.
The show also features a pirate production with knife throwing, acrobatics and high flying aerial feats.
Rusty added ‘We have gathered together some of the finest circus talent in the world and feel this is our strongest show to date.”
