RSPCA appeal after quartet of kitten abandoned in Attleborough field

The RSPCA is appealing for information after four kittens were abandoned in a field in Attleborough.

The quartet of kittens were found by a member of the public near to a tree in a field off Station Road, directly behind Connaught Hall, on August 26.

The three girls and one boy, who were only eight weeks old were taken into the care of the Feline Care Cat Rescue, in East Harling, with the incident was reported to the RSPCA.

David Allen, the animal rescue officer who is investigating, said: “We are so thankful that the kittens were found and collected by a member of the public. They would have been very vulnerable if they had not been found.

“We would also like to thank the Feline Care Cat Rescue who are now caring for the kittens and providing them with a loving place of safety.

“We understand the financial difficulties some people are experiencing right now, however abandoning your pet is never the answer. There is help and support available and - as we all strive to create a better world for every animal - we would urge people to contact their vets, local rescues and animal welfare charities.

Anyone wishing to give a pair of them a home is asked to make contact with Feline Care Cat Rescue via its website.
