A Roydon mother who shed a staggering seven stone hopes to pass on her success with the launch of a new Slimming World group closer to home.

Sharon Moore, 37, who dropped from a dress size 22 to a size 12, had taken over the Debenham branch in November, but will oversee the launch of a brand new Roydon group.

The first session, with people able to turn up on the night, will be held on February 25, at Roydon Primary School at 7.30pm.

Mrs Moore, who first joined Slimming World as a member in April 2013 said: “The support that I received as a member has also been an essential part of my own weight loss. It became a support network that helped get me to where I wanted to be. I am very excited about bringing that support to a new Roydon group.

“I know what it is like to be unhappy with your weight and want to change that. I really want to help others to see the positive changes that have made such a big impact on my own life over the last two years.”
