Deopham Road in Great Ellingham set to be closed in £10,500 roadworks

A village road is set to be closed for three days as work costing more than £10,000 will take place.

Deopham Road in Great Ellingham will be closed from May 6 to 9, from the junction with Bush Green Lane to the junction with Attleborough Road, as the carriageway will be worked on.

Due to the narrow road, the entire carriageway will need to be closed and a signed diversion will be in place for the duration of the closure.

All residents can still gain access via the Attleborough Road / Deopham Road junction at the east side of the closure.

The work, which will cost £10,500 will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
