Stratton Road in Wacton will be closed later this month to allow for resurfacing works.

Work will begin on Tuesday, August 30 for two days, extending from the junction with Chequers Road / Flowerpot Lane through to the junction with Church Road.

A fully-signed diversion will be in place via the A140 Ipswich Road, B1134 Tivetshall, Aslacton, Great Moulton and Wacton, will be in place during the closure.

A spokesperson for Norfolk County Council said: “Access for residents within the site limits will be maintained from one end of the site at all times but it is inevitable that there will be some disruption. The County Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause.”

It work will cost £54,000 and be carred out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.
