Roads set to close for upgrade works on Eye Road, Langton Green and Victoria Hill

Roads in Eye set to close for upgrade works.

The work on Eye Road, Langton Green and Victoria Hill will take place between 10am and 3pm from June 9 to June 12.

The work, by Suffolk Highways, involves spraying a layer of bitumen the surfaces and then covering it with stone chippings.

For the duration of the closure, traffic will be diverted via clockwise traffic, B1077, B1117, A140, B1077 and vice versa.

Weight restriction has been suspended on the B1077 Magdalen Street, from junction with Broad Street, northbound to Castleton Way.

Suffolk Highways has asked road users to please move their vehicles from the areas which will be marked by 'no parking' cones.
