The Street in Tibenham to close for flooding works

A road in Tibenham is being closed to help solve a flooding problem during heavy rain.

The Street, between Hill Road and Church Road, will close on Tuesday and will remain shut until August.

It will be closed to traffic but pedestrian access and access to properties will remain.

The work, costing £200,000, will be undertaken by Norfolk County Council’s community and environmental services department.

A diversion will be in place via Church Road, Mill Road, Diss Road, Long Row, Pristow Green Lane and The Street.
