A1066 between Thetford and Diss, near to junction to Shadwell, reopens following serious crash which saw air ambulance attend




A road has reopened following a serious single-vehicle collision which saw the air ambulance attend.

Police, the fire service and the ambulance service were called to the collision on the A1066 between Thetford and Diss, near to the junction to Shadwell, at around 11.40am.

A Norfolk Police spokesperson said the road was closed in both directions while emergency services were at the scene.

Norfolk Fire and Rescue service dispatched two engines to the scene, with crews making the scene safe and using hydraulic rescue equipment to release the occupants. Its involvement was finished by around 12.40pm.

The road had reopened by 6.15pm.
