Road closures in Attleborough later this month for improvement works

Bunns Bank Road and B1077 Buckenham Road in Attleborough are set to be closed during September while resurfacing work takes place.

The work which will cost £176,000 and be completed in three phases, will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community & Environmental Services Department and their contractors.

Work will begin on Monday for five nights at Bunns Bank Road from the junction with B1077. It will take place overnight, from 7pm to 7am, with temporary traffic signals and escort vehicle in place.

Phase two will begin on September 13 at the Bunns Bank Road junction and adjacent section of B1077 Buckenham Road. A full road closure will be in place from 7am to 7pm, with a fully signed diversion in place.

Phase three will last three days, starting the following day, on the B1077 Buckenham Road from Borough Lane northwards to Burgh Common.

It will be a full road closure from 7am to 7pm, with the same diversion in place.
