Semere Green Lane roads closure, Dickleburgh, to begin next week




Work to repair worn out areas of the road at Semere Green Lane in Dickleburgh will start next week.

Council officials have said the repairs, which will begin on August 9, will take take three days to complete and cost £4,620.97.

As the work will cover the full width of the carriageway the road will need to be closed while work is underway.

The road will be closed from its junction with Semere Lane all the way down to junction with Norwich Road.

Access to properties within the closure will be maintained at all times, and a diversion route along Semere Lane, Ipswich Road A140 and Norwich Road will be in place.

The work will be carried out by Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.

The council has thanked residents and motorists in the area for their patience and understanding whilst the work is carried out.
