Part of the B1077 Station Road in Attleborough will be closed later this month to allow for ‘major’ resurfacing works.

The site will extend from a point approximately 80 metres north of the railway crossing to a point south of the junction with Maurice Gaymer Road.

The works will begin at 7pm on Saturday, July 23 and continue through to 5pm the following day.

A fully signed diversion will be in place, via the A11 at Larling, B1111 Garboldisham, A1066 Diss, B1077 Old Buckenham for the duration of the works. The level crossing at Attleborough will be closed to all vehicular traffic between the stated times.

The work will cost £61,000 and will be carried Norfolk County Council’s Community and Environmental Services Department and their contractors.

The council has apologised for any inconvenience caused.
