Norfolk Walk of Remembrance to take place in Diss
A remembrance walk is due to take place in memory of lost loved ones.
Three Norfolk funeral homes have come together for their 5th annual Norfolk Walk of Remembrance that takes place on Sunday, September 8 in Diss.
“The walk is an opportunity to take the time to remember a loved one whilst enjoying the scenery on what we hope will be a memorable autumnal day,” said Christian Fairbrother, funeral director at Rosedale Funeral Home in Diss.
There will be a choice of two circular routes around Diss and the countryside, either a 3.5 mile walk or one mile around the town.
Following two minutes of silence, a dove release will mark the start of the walks at 12pm from The Pavillion in Diss Park, which will be supported by Park Radio. Registration begins at 11am.
