More than £1,100 was raised at a disco and karaoke event which saw in the New Year in Pulham Market.
It was all in aid of The Grove Leonard Cheshire Disability Home in East Carleton, with the cheque presentation taking place earlier this month.
Held at the village hall in, DJs Kim Peachey, Alan Brett and Gary Ponting provided the entertainment, while the karaoke competition, which was well supported, was won by Grove’s employee Tracey Baldwin. There was also a raffle, which featured prizes including a vehicle skid pan session from Drive Alive in Diss, a bumper Christmas hamper from the Co-Op in Long Stratton, and a meal-for-two voucher donated by The Old Ram at Tivetshall.
