Pulham Market banded together once again for the annual Christmas Tree Lights ceremony at the village green last Thursday.

A crowd of around 80 people formed to celebrate as the Pulham 1st Brownies group performed the Christmas lights switch-on, kicking off the festive activities and a social gathering in the nearby Memorial Hall.

Ann Ford, chairman of Pulham Market Parish Council, offered her thanks to everybody involved in the celebrations, particularly the Cherry Lane Garden Centre for sourcing the 20-foot Christmas tree, and The Crown pub co-owners Jon Bingham and Amy Beevers for sponsoring it.

Many residents later took part in BBC Radio Norfolk’s ‘Treasure Quest Show’ on Sunday morning, helping the treasure hunting team from Diss on their way after solving the show’s fourth clue, which was found at its hiding place under the Pulham Market Christmas tree.
