North Lopham pub The King’s Head has organised a village fete
Organised by a village pub, the return of an annual fete was met with delight on Saturday as food, drink and fun activities were enjoyed by all.
The event took place at the King’s Head in North Lopham and, with the help of volunteers from the community, raised £900 for The North Lopham Relief in Need Charity, which supports local people in difficulties.
“It was really well received and everyone was over the moon and grateful to have the fete return,” said Louise Griffiths, who runs the pub with husband Martin Griffiths.
“We’re definitely looking to make it an annual event as everyone really enjoyed themselves and we had good weather, too.
“We need to thank everyone who made this possible. Whether they donated a gift or helped with preparations, everyone played a very special part in making this a success.
“We were overwhelmed with the support we received.”
