Pink Trolley pop-up event in Eye helps The Blossom Charity

A pop-up shop helped to raise hundreds of pounds for a charity, which has people at its heart.

The Hexagon in Eye hosted a sale of pre-loved women’s, men’s and children’s clothing and accessories – organised by The Pink Trolley.

The brainchild of The Blossom Charity, which was founded by Bridget McIntyre in 2013 to support those going through personal difficulties, or those facing hardship, it helps to generate much-needed funds.

Justine Johnston, who works for the charity said: “It was a great event over the three days and we raised £800.

“We have so much support for these pop-ups, which started last year. We would like to thank all our volunteers, those who donate things and people who come to these events and purchase the items; it all helps us do what we do.”

The charity’s next pop-up will be an emporium sale of unusual and intriguing objects on February 27, 28 and March 1.
