Police find VW Golf from £450,000 super car Tibenham Airfield theft




One of five super cars, collectively worth around £450,000 which was stolen from a Norfolk airfield, has been found.

Police found a blue and white VW Golf, which was taken with a red Lamborghini Huracan, a white Porsche Cayman, a bronze Audi R8 and a yellow and black Mercedes AMG GT, in Suffolk yesterday.

The fleet of high-performance machines are owned by Car Chase Heroes, who had hired Tibenham Airfield for a weekend of experience days – but thieves took the vehicles between midnight and 4am on Saturday.

Officers are still investigating the whereabouts of the other four vehicles.
