This years Pink Ladies’ tractor run raised more than £55,000 for the fight against breast cancer.

The road run took place on Sunday, July 1, with 120 tractors driving through South Norfolk– all decorated in pink.

“A fantastic amount of £55,660 for Cancer Research UK was raised by our fabulous pink ladies,” said Libby Searle, daughter of organiser Annie Chapman.

“This brings the 15-year total to nearly £640,000

“It was a searingly hot day but the support from the public around the route was as strong as ever and gave the everyone great encouragement.

“We can’t do any of this without the support of the marshals, the tractor owners and everyone who contributed on the day. Thanks to everyone who helped out. We’re still aiming for £1 million.”

Next year’s tractor run is planned for Sunday, July 7.
