PICTURES: Nesting birds in Eye tractor puts work on hold

A blackbird has put agricultural work at an Eye home on hold — after nesting in a tractor.

After being out of use during the winter, the tractor at a home in Ludgate Causeway is now the home of the bird and young fledglings.

Landowners Alf and Janet Chambers have been keeping an eye on the nest and although the meadow needs cutting and the garden ploughing, all activities will have to wait until fledglings have flown.
