PICTURES: Car crashes into pedestrian crossing in Diss
A man has been charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis after a car crashed into a pedestrian crossing in Diss on Sunday evening.
It happened shortly after 6pm in Victoria Road when a blue Volvo S80 was involved in a collision with railings and a traffic light.
No one was injured and the driver was arrested at the scene after failing a roadside breath test.
He was taken to Wymondham Police Investigation Centre and later charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis.
Normunds Malins, 36, of Gainsborough Drive in Halesworth, was released on bail and will appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on Friday, November 27.
