Picture gallery: Good turnout puts Tractorfest in Aslacton in driving seat to raise thousands

Visitors from far and wide came to see all things mechanical at this year’s Tractorfest, helping to raise thousands for charity.

The free event, which took place at Griffin Park in Aslacton on July 13, played host to tractors, classic cars, motorbikes, trucks, engines and a variety of stalls.

Organiser Janine Jarrett said it was a huge hit.

She said: “It went extremely well. The nice thing about it is that people come from all of the local villages, which gives it such a community feel.

“Everyone left at the end with smiles on their faces.”

The event raised £2,500 for the East Anglian Air Ambulance and £502 each for Aslacton and Great Moulton Football Club and The Old Ram Tractor Club.

“People were so very generous and I want to thank everyone who came together to make it such a success.

“Without the overwhelming support of everyone every time we put Tractorfest on, this would not exist.”
