PICTURE GALLERY: Harleston Food and Drink Festival is a real treat for the taste buds

Hundreds of foodies tucked into tasty treats as a town’s food festival made a return.

Harleston Food and Drink Festival, held in Market Place and Exchange Street, gave festival goers a taste of food from farm to fork as producers were celebrated.

With a mix of local produce, artisan treats, food and drink, the showpiece – hosted by Harleston’s Future – continues to grow in popularity, having started in 2014.

Festival organiser Gemma Collins said: “It went so well, with lots of positive feedback. We had lots of people sitting, eating and chatting in a wonderful atmosphere.

“We also had visitors from outside the town, which can only benefit our shops and businesses.”

With a range of delicious delights on offer, Ms Collins said the response to the festival always amazed her.

She said: “I would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting their local market town.”
