Person dies after medical incident at Morrisons, in Victoria Road, Diss

A person has died after multiple emergency services were called to a medical incident at a town store last night.

Officers from Norfolk Police assisted the ambulance services after they called to Morrisons in Victoria Road, Diss, at around 6.30pm yesterday.

The store was closed during the incident and the air ambulance was seen landing near to the Mere.

An spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said: "An adult was transported by road to hospital but, despite the best efforts of our team, was pronounced dead before reaching the emergency department.”
