When it comes to shoes, a Rushall entrepreneur has turned her passion into a business.
Lizzie Stimson, from Rushall, said she was ready a new challenge.
Having opened her new shop, Lizzie2Shoes, in St Nicholas Street, Diss, at the end of last month, she believes her products cater for the market town’s growing demand for footwear.
She added: “I have two friends who own clothing shops in the town and they had told me their customers couldn’t find shoes to go with their new outfits – so I decided to do something about it.
“I think people sometimes don’t want to travel all the way to Norwich or Bury St Edmunds just for shoes, especially older women, so it seemed like the ideal time to open a shop.
“I stock shoes for women of all ages. I may even stock for men in the future.”
The 55-year-old mother-of-two said she could not have opened the shop without the support of husband, Nigel, and children Edward and Oliver.
Mrs Stimson added: “Opening the shop was no hassle and the reps have been brilliant.
“I think I have an eye for making things look good and have decorated a window at one end of the shop to suit different events, such as Hallowe’en or Remembrance Day.
“I am looking forward to decorating the shop for Christmas.”
On the subject of customer feedback, Mrs Stimson said people had been very positive about the store. She added: “It is lovely to be part of the Heritage Triangle and everybody has been very welcoming.”
