Palgrave road repairs set to affect motorists from Monday


Road improvements in Palgrave are set to affect motorists from Monday.

On the A143, a speed restriction will start 50 metres west of the junction with Lion Road, Wortham, and finish 25 metres west of the B1077/ Stuston Lane junction in Stuston. It will run from Monday, April 18 to Wednesday, April 27, with the speed reduced to 30mph during working times of 9.30am and 3.30pm.

And Crossing Road will be closed to traffic and pedestrians overnight for works to the level crossing between 9pm on Wednesday, April 20 and 6am on Thursday, April 21.

The official diversion route is via Rose Lane to the A1066 Victoria Road, Diss, then the B1077 past the golf course, and back via the A143.
