Pair hospitalised after A140 crash near Brome

A driver and passenger were taken to Ipswich Hospital after a crash on the A140 yesterday afternoon.

The incident happened near Brome, close to the B1077 junction, just after 4pm.

The East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) dispatched an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and rapid response vehicle to the scene.

Three patients were assessed. A van driver was discharged at the scene without any injuries of note.

A driver of a car and a passenger were taken to Ipswich Hospital for further care.

Both are thought to have sustained minor injuries only.
