Pair charged with £48,000 cross-country gold jewellery thefts

A man and a woman have been charged with multiple theft offences following a series of incidents across the country.
The incidents happened between May 14 and July 29 July, 2024, when gold jewellery, collectively valued at more £48,000, was stolen from various locations in Norfolk, Suffolk, Warwickshire, Sussex and Wiltshire.
Vadar-ghimes Agafitei and Zinca Agafitei, both aged 46 and of Penge Road, London, have been charged with three counts of burglary, theft from shop and theft from person.
Vadar-ghimes Agafitei was also charged with fraud by false representation.
They have both been remanded into custody and will appear at Norwich Crown Court on November 18.
