Pair charged after causing £3,000 worth of criminal damage in Harleston




Two men have been charged after £3,000 of plants and trees were damaged in Harleston town centre in the early hours of Wednesday.

Police were called to The Thoroughfare at about 1.20am by a member of the public and detained Liam O’Connor, 22, from Constable Court, Harleston, and Tyler Meadows, 24, from Church Road, Brockdish.

The pair were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and are due to appear at Norwich Magistrates’ Court on July 24.

Both defendants have been released on bail with conditions not to associate with one another, curfews between 7pm and 5am, and not to be drunk in a public place.
