Nutrition and hydration advice for older people on offer at Eye care home
Older people and family carers in Eye are being invited to learn more about eating well and staying hydrated in older age at a free advice event at Hartismere Place.
Running on Wednesday, May 18 from 2.30pm and 4.30pm, it will include practical nutrition and hydration advice from Care UK’s food and services manager James Clear and area roving chef Andrew Mussett.
Cathryn Weed, home manager at Hartismere Place, said: “As people get older it becomes increasingly important to eat well and keep hydrated. This can be challenging when you or your loved one is less mobile around the kitchen or has a diminishing appetite and interest in food.
“For anyone looking for free professional advice on nutrition and hydration in older age, we encourage you to come along on May 18 and meet our experts and the Hartismere Place team. We look forward to welcoming you.”
