Peter Beales Roses racks up two awards at RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival

An Attleborough nursery and garden centre – renowned around the world for its roses – has been recognised with two awards at the prestigious RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival.

Peter Beales Roses, in London Road, was given a gold medal and crowned ‘best rose exhibit’ at the horticultural event at the start of the month.

The business has specialised in the preservation of old fashioned, historic and rare roses since 1968.

After learning of the double success, nursery manager Ian Limmer said: “We are absolutely delighted to receive these prestigious awards, especially during such a very challenging year.

“I’d like to thank all the staff for their hard work in helping to achieve this.”

The nursery and garden centre is no stranger to accolades, having won 26 medals at the Chelsea Flower Show, including a gold at the last event in 2019.
