Northampton males arrested after attempted thefts at Diss supermarkets

Two males from the Northampton area have been arrested after attempting to steal from two supermarkets in Diss.

They were arrested by South Norfolk Police at 3pm on Wednesday after trying to take goods from the Morrisons and Tesco stores in the town.

A spokesperson for the police said they were also arrested for a theft on February 22 at Morrisons when a large amount of spirits were stolen.

The investigation is ongoing and the males are in custody.
