A Tasburgh man has admitted to the rape and sexual assault of girls.

Dr Hugh Blaise O’Neill, 61, of Saxlingham Lane, who worked as a GP in Norfolk, pleaded guilty to five sexual offences, including two counts of rape and one count of gross indecency against one victim who was under the age of 14 at the time of the offences, and two counts of gross indecency against a second victim, also aged under 14.

He admitted to the offences at Norwich Crown Court yesterday.

He was remanded in custody and will appear at Norwich Crown Court on January 30, 2015 for sentencing.
