Nominations open for district council’s business awards
Businesses are set to be celebrated as nominations for the the Broadland and South Norfolk Business Awards 2023 have opened.
Businesses are invited to nominate themselves for an award in any of the 11 categories and residents can support their favourite shop or pub by nominating them as Retailer of the Year and Pub of the Year.
In doing so, voters will be put into prize draws to win £100 worth of shopping or pub vouchers.
Cllr Lisa Neal, South Norfolk’s cabinet member for stronger economy, said: “The district is home to so many successful businesses, from multi-national organisations, cutting edge tech and bio science companies to a wide range of independent shops and traders.
“I am so impressed with how they have overcome the recent challenges and am delighted we can support and promote their hard work and dedication.”
Nominations close on December 12, and winners will be announced on March 7 at an awards ceremony at Norwich City Football Club.
