Motorcyclist suffers life-threatening injuries after collision in Roudham

A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries following a collision with a car in Roudham yesterday evening (Monday August 15).

The crash happened on the B1111 halfway between Larling and East Harling at around 7.40pm and involved a black Suzuki GSXR motorcycle and a grey Jaguar XF estate.

The motorcyclist, a man in his late 20s, was flown to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries.

No one in the Jaguar was injured.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident. It was reopened at 3am this morning (Tuesday August 16).

Police are urging anyone who witnessed the crash or has information concerning the riding or driving manner of the vehicles before the collision to call PC Bob Hardingham from Wynmondham Roads Policing on 101.
